Rapid City Public Libraries to Host Teen Tech Week Facebook Photo Contest

Rapid City, S.D. – Feb. 24, 2012 – Teens are invited to tune in and use their creativity to win big at the library during Teen Tech Week March 4-10, 2012. To celebrate this year’s theme, “Geek Out at the Library,” the Rapid City Public Library is hosting a Facebook Photo contest with prizes from Best Buy.

Teens 13-18 years of age are invited to take photos focused around the theme, “Geek out at the Library” and post them to the Rapid City Public Library’s Facebook page. If you are unable to enter online, you can also bring entries to either library on a drive or disc, send by e-mail or an actual photo can be brought into either library location.

Entries must be submitted by Saturday, March 10. Winners will be announced March 16. First place will receive a $75 Best Buy Gift card, second place will receive a $50 Best Buy Gift Card, and third place will receive a $25 Best Buy Gift Card. Photos need to have some kind of connection to the library but do not have to be taken at the library.
